Hello! I'm Nathalie Iseli-Chan,

After several years as a university lecturer, my family and I made a big life change and left the fast-paced life of Hong Kong to settle in a quieter city in Alberta, Canada. That move gave me the space to slow down and focus on what matters most: raising my young children in a calm, supportive environment.

I am also an award-winning author who is a passionate creator of books that open the door to meaningful conversations.

My family's adoption journey changed my life in unexpected ways and inspired me to write the books I wished had existed when we were starting our own story. Today, I create stories and resources that help children, families, educators, and adoption professionals talk openly about adoption, identity, belonging, and family.

Through Adoption Reads, my goal is simple: to make adoption conversations easier, more accurate, and more natural, one book at a time.
